This is something I really try to live by.
Often I have found myself missing out on so much because of work.
I worked in retail for 20 years, at all levels of management, and found that I never switched off. I was always thinking of the stuff that needed to be done, whether I was in the store/office or not! And now I'm running a business I find I'm doing it more and more. I realise that I'm missing out on the moments with my kids and friends and family. And I know they understand, but sometime I have to remind myself that these moments are what I'm working so hard for and why I took the leap in the first place.
Running your own business will take up your time and steal your moments away from you, but don't let it take them all!
If you can outsource a job, then do it.
If you can get help, then do it.
This will give you the time you need to recharge, focus on what matters, or the space you need to grow your business in the direction you want it to go. It doesn't have to be a big job, its usually the small ones that take up most of your time!
Oh, this is posted on Wednesday, because I save it as a draft yesterday! ha ha ha ha
