This can be applied to any job, any life, not just your own business!
My Dad always said to me,
"If you don't want to go to work for 3 days in a row, it's time to change the job"
which was ok for him, he worked as a computer programmer and in the 1980's - 2000's, it was the trade everyone wanted to be in and there were plenty of jobs to be had. Nowadays that's not the case.
Sometimes we go to work when we really don't want to, and this already puts you in a negative mood. It could be because you've had a bad day before, or a bad week so far, and you've already given in to having another bad day.
So why not try to think of things a different way...…..
Instead of giving in to the 'bad day' ahead, why not change your mindset about the day you're gonna have.
Every job has its bad days, and sometimes those bad days can go on for a long stretch of time, but no matter what your job is, if you go in, work your hardest, do your job and come out go home, you've had a good day 'for you'.
u are the big boss, the middle man/women or the hard worker at the bottom of the tree.
If you go into work thinking it's going to be a bad day, it already is, you've already lost!
Its a lot harder to do it than it is for me to say it, I know, I've been there many times, but life is too short, too hard and too stressful already to not at least try.
For the Business Owners....
It will be hard trying to get your business of the ground, and there will be days when you wonder why you started in the first place, and I know I have!
You will dread waking up knowing you have to face the day, and it will get to you. But instead of dreading the day, try to think
'Today is not going to be as bad as yesterday'
make plans, set realistic goals, be a go-getter. You have the control to change things, you're the boss!
But more importantly just try to remember the main reason why you started and that's where you'll see your heart in your business. Find a motto, a saying, a quote or a picture that you can look at that reminds you that all the hard work will be worth it.
If you succeed or accept defeat, at least you can say you did it
